Ortigia Island & Neapolis Excursion
Syracuse, founded in 734 BC, is one of the most important Magna Graecia cultural centers. The most spectacular testimonies are contained in the Archaeological Park of Neapolis with the Greek Theater of V aC, one of the most majestic and important of the whole greek world, Paradise Latomie, the Ear of Dionigi, the Ara of lerone the Roman Amphitheater.
Ancient history will lead us to remember the most famous citizen of Syracuse of all time, Archimedes. After the tour of the park, we move to the Catacombs of San Giovanni and visit Madonna delle Lacrime Church, dedicated to the miracle of 1953.
